This campsite on the location of a former wood logging mill is relaxed and friendly with friendly Kangaroos and Emus roaming freely around the campground. The caretakers are very friendly and the amenities are clean if a bit rustic - which is a great way to describe the whole vibe there. A great place to stay to get away from it all in the middle of a massive forest....but bring a book as telephone reception and wifi is patchy!

Possibly the best nature experience in the Southwest. Surrounded by kangaroos and emus.

The caretaker is very accommodating. As soon as i said that i am a newbie in caravanning (first trip), she put as away from the rest and gave me a huge space so i can position the van easily. Had to reverse back and forth far from spectators
